What is Abandoned Cart Recovery (ACR) recommendations?

We all know abandoned carts are a big problem for us in the E-commerce world. And we do everything we can to bring someone back when they leave their email / phone number. But what about people who don't leave any details?

Our Abandoned Cart campaign works just like Recently Viewed. It will add a section of products that will show up only when there are items abandoned in a visitor's cart. Just like Recently Viewed shows products recently viewed, ACR recommendation will show products recently abandoned in the cart.

This ensures that every visitor who abandoned their cart is nudged to complete the purchase in the same session, or whenever they come back to your website.

How do you create an abandoned cart recovery campaign?

Where can you place this?

You can place this widget on your Product Pages, Home page, Cart Page, or Collection Pages. We recommend placing this on multiple high-traffic pages so that the products follow the visitors wherever they browse.

Best Practices

  • Place the widget on the homepage/or any other page that usually gets the most retargeted traffic to grab attention

  • Club this campaign with a personalized banner showcasing a discount to incentivize the cart abandoners to complete their purchase.
